I hope you will benefit from these affiliate recruitment methods. So, without further ado, let’s begin with my favorite ways to find new affiliates for an affiliate program.
1) Organic Search
Just Google ’em! This is the most obvious thing anyone can do when searching for affiliates
How to make it effective? Search for product reviews & niche blogs. For example, if your affiliate program is about web hosting, search for your competitor’s review and web hosting related blogs.
2) Paid Placement in Affiliate Networks
Paid placement (or featured placement, or ) is a great way to advertise your program to all affiliate that is part of the affiliate network. Almost all the popular affiliate networks (such as ShareASale and CJ) provide an easy paid ads placement solution.
My thoughts: These feature ads placement really worthwhile if you have a general product that will appeal to of lot affiliates.
3) Affiliate Recruitment Tools
Affiliate recruitment tools are a really easy way to find and recruit affiliates. An affiliate recruitment tool is an inbuilt feature of the affiliate network, it basically allows a merchant to pull a list of affiliates in an affiliate network and then you as an affiliate manager can content affiliates directly showing in the list. There are some affiliate networks (such as Webgains & Commission junction) offering affiliate recruitment tools for merchants.
My Thoughts: It’s the easiest and most effective way to find & recruit affiliates. But it’s sad, just a few affiliate networks are blessed with the affiliate recruitment tool, maybe because most of the affiliate networks want to maintain the privacy of affiliates, or maybe they want people to use their internal advertising tool as a mode of affiliate recruitment.
